La Cortinada is one of the bigger villages of Andorra with some hotels and infrastructure, not far away from Ordino. It is located at the river Riu Valira del Nord and Ruta del Ferro (the iron route), offering some historical highlights like the church Esglesia Sant Marti de la Cortinada, watermill Moli i serradora de Cal Pal, the old farm of Mas d'en Soler with its watermill, Cal Pal as the part of Quart de La Cortinada (the smallest political subdivision of Andorra). Also interesting: the Golf areal of El Vilar, and the Center of nature with a multivision show.
