The southern pre-Pyrenees offer some very interesting mountain landscapes. Solsones is one of them. With the region of "Vall de Lord" and its center town Sant Llorenc de Morunys, and a big ski resort at Port de Comte. The river Cardener "El Cardener" is rising here at La Coma. The capital Solsona of comarca Solsones is located south of this area.
